It's becoming harder and harder for parents to limit what their kids watch. Not only is TV getting more and more edgy, but R-rated movies and explicit music is easier than ever to download off iTunes or rent at a Redbox.

From USA Today:

Researchers know what your tween saw last summer: savage beatings, severed heads, murder, rape and torture.

In a study released (in 2008) in the journal Pediatrics, researchers from Dartmouth Medical School estimate more than 2.5 million children ages 10 to 14 watch the typical violent, R-rated movie.

 

So we ask you, the parents: Do you let your kids watch R-rated movies before they are of legal age? And what about music that contains profanity or sexually explicit lyrics?
