Police Arrest Second Man in July Armed Robbery

Bolingbrook police said three men robbed a 20-year-old victim walking near the intersection of Briarcliff Road and Denver Drive.

Police say they've arrested a second man that held up a 20-year-old at gunpoint last month. Another remains on the loose.

Bolingbrook detectives were able to locate and arrest Charles Lusk, 19, of the 500 block of Cottonwood Circle, on an outstanding warrant in reference to the stick up. 

On Aug. 1, police arrested Quentin Tyrone Jones, 19, of the 600 block of Preston Drive.

Both men face felony armed robbery charges.

Bolingbrook Lieutenant Mike Rompa said the victim’s father, upon learning of the incident, brought in his child to report the crime, which happened July 13.

The victim was allegedly robbed at gunpoint and robbed of money by three offenders while walking near the intersection of Briarcliff Road and Denver Drive, side road near the intersection of Briarcliff and Schmidt Road.

The incident remains under investigation to look for the other offender.
