Police Blotter: Man Charged with Aggravated Battery After Beaconridge Fight

1. Criminal trespass to a residence
Police were called to the 400 block of Sioux Drive for the report of criminal trespass to a residence. Unknown subjects entered a vacant home, wrote graffiti on the walls and threw garbage throughout between Oct. 1 and Oct. 26.

2. Briefcase containing documents stolen
A red briefcase and cell phone charger was taken from a car parked on the 300 block of Whitewater Drive between Oct. 25 and Oct. 26. Some of the missing documents were found in a stairwell of the complex.

3. Home window shattered
A home window was broken with a landscaping brick on the 100 block of Sycamore Drive between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
4. Aggravated battery
Jimmy Townsend, 27, of the 1300 block of Lancaster Drive in Woodridge, was charged with aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer after a call to the 100 block of Jamestown Lane for the report of a fight at 8:38 p.m.
