Police Blotter: Man Shows Gun, Breaks Glass Bottle on Victim's Arm

1. Battery
Police were called to the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive for the report of a battery. A witness told police that a subject threw a glass bottle that broke on the victims arm, displayed a gun and then fled the area at 1:42 a.m.

2. Shoes snatched from car

A new pair of shoes and a car stereo were taken from a locked car in Lot F of Fernwood Drive between 12:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
3. Car burglary
Police were called to the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive for the report of a burglary to a vehicle. A window was cut to the car and a stereo and spare tire were taken between July 29 and July 30. Loss valued at $550.
4. Retail theft
Luther Daniel, 51, of the 500 block of Kildeer Drive, was charged with retail theft at Walmart, located at 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr.
5. Warrants
Brenden McCulloough, 22, of the 500 block of Emerson Circle, was charged with two in-state warrants following a traffic stop on the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.
6. Juveniles charged with damaging mailboxes
Two 16-year-old juveniles were charged with criminal damage to property and a curfew violation at the intersection of Old Stone Drive and Bunker Hill Drive at 12:56 a.m. Police said the two were damaging mailboxes.
7. Phone stolen from porch
An LG cell phone was taken from the porch of a home on the 400 block of Yorkshire Square between July 29 and July 30. Loss valued at $300.
