Fence tagged with graffiti

A fence on the 500 block of East North Frontage Road was spray painted with graffiti, police said.

Purse stolen from car

A purse was taken from the backseat of a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Brookview Lane, police said.

Pain pills stolen from lock box

Several Hydrocodone pills were taken from a secured locked box on the 500 block of Kildeer Drive, police said.

Man scares car burglars off

Police were called to the 300 block of Deerfield Drive for the report of criminal trespass to a car. The homeowner said they heard a noise and after going to the garage, discovered two unknown subjects in the car. The two fled after the homeowner came outside. A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with criminal trespass to a car, resisting a peace officer and an in-state warrant, police said.

Armed robbery

Police were called to the area of Briarcliff Road for the report of an armed robbery. The victim was approached while walking, a gun was placed in his back and money was demanded before the subjects hit the victim in the head and ran off, police said.

Phone stolen

A Samsung cell phone was taken from the 600 block of East Boughton Road, police said
