Thursday, July 14

Woman charged with three warrants

Vanessa Zuno, 21, of the first block of Fernwood Drive, was charged with three outstanding warrants following a traffic stop at the intersection of Boughton Road and White Water Drive, police said.

Stolen bikes

Two bicycles were taken from a garage on the 100 block of Mayfield Drive, police said. Loss valued at $2,550.

Woman charged with stealing electronics

Danita Grad-Lupida, 52, of the 1800 block of Syracuse Avenue in Naperville, was charged with retail theft after police say she exited a store with two digital cameras, a memory card and several food products without paying.

Car burglary

Police were called to the 300 block of Candellight Court, for the report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. The homeowner said they went back into the house and when they returned to the garage, an unknown subject was found inside the car taking a purse. The suspect ran off, police said.

Purse taken from business desk

A purse was taken from under a desk at a business on the 600 block of East Boughton Road, police said. The purse was found in a bathroom but the money and credit cards inside the purse were still missing. Loss valued at $60.

Another purse stolen

A purse containing numerous credit cards and money along with a GPS unit, was taken from an unlocked car parked in a garage on the 300 block of Springmist Court, police said. Loss valued at $650.

Car window broken

A window was broken to a car parked on Lot K of Fernwood Drive, police said.

Aggravated assault

Kourtney Walker, 22, of the 200 block of Monroe Road, was charged with resisting a peace officer and aggravated assault at the intersection of Whitewater Drive and Boughton Road, police said.

Stolen car

A 1997 Cavalier was taken from the parking lot on the 500 block of Kildeer Drive, police said. The car was later discovered following a traffic accident in town.

Wednesday, July 13

Stolen car

A 2010 Nissan Altima that was rented from the Hertz at 271 Bolingbrook Drive, was not returned, police said.

A blue Marquis was taken from a parking lot on the 400 block of Gainsborough Drive, police said.

Cell phones snagged

Police were called to a business on the 200 block of Weber Road for the report of a theft. Police say 12 cell phones and 10 SIM cards were taken from shipment between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Loss valued at $4,500.

Saturday, July 9

Stolen car

A 2007 blue Kia was taken from the parking lot on the 400 block of Providence Court at 4:30 a.m., police said.
