Police Blotter: Thief Takes Patio Set—Wind Chimes, Decorative Tree and All

Friday, July 29
1. Attempted break in
Diamonte Miller, 17, of the 200 block of Yellowpine Drive, was charged with residential burglary and resisting a peace officer following an attempted break in on the 600 block of Cochise Circle at 10:15 p.m.

2. Glass door broken
A glass door to a business on the 500 block of Pinecrest Road was broken at 3:37 a.m.

3. Stolen patio set
Police were called to Dogwood Court for the report of a theft. Police said a patio set, hammock, wind chimes, outdoor decorative palm tree and a set of solar lights were taken from the backyard overnight. Loss valued at $500.
4. Victim hit with bottle during battery
Police were called a business on the 200 block of Remington Boulevard for the report of a battery. The victim told police they were punched in the face and hit with a bottle aftera verbal argument at 6:40 a.m. The victim was transported to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital for their injuries.
5. Warrant and disorderly conduct
David O’Banner, 22, of the 300 block of South Ottawa Street in Joliet, was charged with disorderly conduct on the 100 block of North Bolingbrook drive at 12 p.m. In the same incident, Deangelo Williams, 23, of the 100 block of Lilac Court, was charged with an in-state warrant.
6. Warrant
Quentin Jones, 19, of the 600 block of Preston Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 400 block of West Boughton Road at 5:45 p.m.
