Police Bust Young Woman With Heroin

Michelle Ireland, of Bolingbrook, is being charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bolingbrook Police have busted young woman with heroin.

Over the weekend, police arrested a pair of area brothers, who were with a heroin needle nearby.

And on Tuesday, the Problem Oriented Police Unit arrested Michelle Ireland, 21, of the 100 block of Pinecrest Road, after they found several bags of heroin, a metal spoon, cotton Q-tip and a hypodermic needle in or around his car.

According to the police report, the POP unit was on the 500 block of West Boughton Road when they observed a suspicious car parked in a parking lot. When officers approached the car, Ireland allegedly tossed several bags of heroin out of the car, which were later located.

Ireland is being charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal stopping, standing or parking.

Ireland was taken into custody, processed and transported to Will County Adult Detention Facility.
