Property Assessment Q&A Planned In Bolingbrook
Those curious to learn more about property taxes and how their assessed value is determined are invited to the Aug. 2 event.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — State Rep. Dagmara Avelar will join State Sen. Meg Loughran Cappel and State Rep. Natalie Manley for an event with DuPage Township Assessor Ken Harris and the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce to answer various questions about property assessments for local community members, according to a news release.
Those curious to learn more about property taxes and how their assessed value is determined are invited to the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, 201 Canterbury Lane, Suite B, on Aug. 2 from 9 to 10 a.m.
“This is a great opportunity to learn more about the complexities of property taxes. Understanding property assessments and taxes is key to managing your finances, ensuring you’re being taxed fairly, and making informed financial decisions,” Avelar said in a release. “I look forward to seeing our local community turn out for this event to learn more about how property taxes impact families and our neighborhoods!”
