BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Royce Road bridge project moved forward at Tuesday's Bolingbrook Village Board meeting, as the Board approved a proposal for design engineering services.

The proposal for phase 2 of the project includes contract plans, specifications and estimates, and won't exceed $240,000.

The bridge project is over the east branch of the DuPage River, and is in preliminary engineering and review by IDOT, Trustee Mike Lawler said during Tuesday's meeting.

"This is to allocate the funds for the early parts of the project, so that they can be completed as we move through the various phases," Lawler added.
