Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?
My daughter was All-Conference in softball her junior and senior year at Bolingbrook High School. She was also voted Most Valuable player for her softball and bowling team in 2022; her senior year at Bolingbrook High School. Jaelynn was in percussion 1, which is the top drum program in her school, all 4 years, and was on drumline all 4 years; in which 3 out of the 4 years she was the only female. She graduated on the honor roll and was on the honor roll all 4 years of high school.
She is now attending the University of Saint Francis in Joliet, playing softball and majoring in Psychology. Jaelynn has maintained a rigorous schedule through her high school years and continuing on into college. Five days a week, you can see her conditioning and/or attending batting and catchers training. She is working as a St. Francis Ambassador as well. Jaelynn decided to attend college close to home, so she can use her college and give back to her community.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?
She is the most honest, coachable and hardworking student athlete to come out of Bolingbrook High School. Some people don't know this because softball is a spring sport at the time of school ending, so the players aren't acknowledged at times.
Keep up the great work, Jaelynn Freshman at University of St. Francis!
