Starbucks IL Locations Giving Away Free Drinks Through New Year's

ILLINOIS — Starting Friday through New Year's Eve, participating Starbucks locations will be spreading holiday cheer with Pop-Up Parties, featuring select handcrafted espresso drinks for free. Pop-Up Parties are taking place from 1 to 2 p.m. Dec. 27 through Dec. 31 at more than 200 Starbucks stores nationwide, including many in the Chicago area.

Customers who visit a participating store will receive a free tall handcrafted espresso beverage of their choice, hot or iced, including peppermint mochas, iced toasted white chocolate mochas, lattes, macchiatos and more (one per customer).

The Pop-Up Party locations will change daily, so keep an eye on Starbucks' Pop-Up Party site every day to view the next day's locations. According to the Pop-Up Party site, these locations in Chicago and some suburbs are participating on Friday, Dec. 27.

On Friday, you can check back to see which locations will be offering up free drinks on Saturday, and so on, through Dec. 31.

"Be sure to check back tomorrow. We're revealing another 200 party locations each day through 12/31," Starbucks said.
