Report Shows Bolingbrook's School Administrators Make More Than Romeoville's
Under state law, school districts required to report numbers.

When it comes to Valley View school administrators, heads of Bolingbrook schools are making more base salary than their Romeoville counterparts, according to figures released by the district this month.
Eight of the ten highest paid principals or assistant principals belong in Bolingbrook schools, and in all but one case—assistant high school principals—Bolingbrook principals or assistant principals are paid more on average.
According to the school district's Administrator Salary Compensation Report, Bolingbrook High School Principal Fabby Williams is paid $135,900 annually. That's $7,200 more than Romeoville High School Principal Derek Kinder makes per year.

Bolingbrook High School, though, has nearly double the amount of students that Romeoville High School has.

Other findings from the reports figures (all annual earnings):
- Bolingbrook middle school principals make on average $115,481, while Romeoville middle school principals make on average $95,637.
- Bolingbrook elementary school principals make on average $97,795.53, while Romeoville elementary school principals make on average $89,259.
- Romeoville High School assistant principals make on average $101,322, while Bolingbrook High School assistant principals make on average $101,018.25.
- Bolingbrook middle school assistant principals make on average $75,591, while Romeoville middle school assistant principals make on average $71,905.
- Bolingbrook elementary school assistant principals make on average $78,162.88, while Romeoville elementary school assistant principals make on average $73,523.50.
- Of the ten highest-paid principals or assistant principals in the district, three were women and seven were men. Of the five highest-paid, two were women and three were men.
