Teacher Named Bolingbrook HS's New Literacy Admin

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Valley View School District 365U Board of Education has approved the selection of Mr. Tom Demos to the position of Bolingbrook High School Core Content Administrator for Literacy. He had previously been teaching English I honors and advanced placement language and composition at Batavia High school.

Mr. Demos began his teaching career in 2007 when he was hired as a language arts teacher by Batavia District 101. He has taught all levels of language arts while a member of the faculty at Batavia and has also served a mentor for new teachers and as a member of the school leadership team.

Mr. Demos earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Education from Illinois State University in 2007, followed by a Master of the Arts Degree in Educational Leadership from Roosevelt University in 2010.
