
Bolingbrook officials had been hinting for weeks that they would likely cancel one or two of its regularly scheduled village board of trustees meetings.
Last week, the village announced that tonight's meeting would be canceled.
Bolingbrook Mayor Roger Claar said typically during the summer months, village business slows down and that it would be pointless to make residents come to a meeting for the board to only act on one or two items that were not time sensitive.
