Valley View Schools Announce E-Learning Day On Tuesday
The Chicago area is under a cold weather advisory from 9 p.m. Monday until noon on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
WILL COUNTY, IL — Several area school districts have called for e-learning days on Tuesday in anticipation of wind chills as low as 30 below zero.
Valley View School District in Bolingbrook and Romeoville announced that all of its schools will be closed Tuesday due to the weather conditions. The District will utilize its emergency e-learning plan.
Also nearby, Plainfield District 202 will have an e-learning day on Tuesday, as well as Joliet District 86 and Joliet District 204.

Most of the Chicago area is under a cold weather advisory from 9 p.m. Monday until noon on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
"The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 to 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes," the weather service said.
