Village: Lily Cache Traffic Lights Should be Operational Today
Two new traffic signals are part of the Lily Cache Lane construction project that recently wrapped up construction.

The project has been ongoing for nearly seven years and has revamped Lily Cache Lane into a four-lane road from Route 53 to Veterans Memorial Drive.

Both of the new traffic signals replace stop signs.
The project, overall, cost $15.4 million, of which the village paid 8.7 million.

The benefits of completing construction on Lily Cache are twofold, Drey said. Not only will the completed road ease congestion for the 12,000 drivers who travel Lily Cache every day, but the revamped road also will ease congestion on Bolingbrook's busiest street — Boughton Road — Drey said.
