The Will County Children's Advocacy Center was founded in 1995 by State's Attorney James Glasgow to partner with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) comprised of law enforcement, DCFS investigators, medical personnel, prosecutors, and Will County CAC forensic interviewers, family advocates, and trauma therapists in response to reports of severe physical abuse, sexual abuse, commercial exploitation, neglect, and exposure to violence of children, in Will County, IL.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Yorkville couple are the proud parents of the first baby of 2026 welcomed at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook hospital, the hospital shared in a news release. Ana and Serghei Mindru welcomed their baby boy, Matthew, at 1:46 a.m. on Jan. 1, the hospital said. Matthew weighs 6 pounds, 13 ounces; and measures 19.5 inches long. This is the couple's first child, the hospital shared. "Congratulations to the Mindru family on the newest member of their family!" the hospital said.
