Traffic Signal Work Planned Wednesday At Boughton, Aspen

The Public Works Electrical Section will replace a damaged traffic signal cabinet at the intersection, starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Work at the intersection of Boughton Road and Aspen Drive on Wednesday will cause lane closures, the Village of Bolingbrook shared on its Facebook.

The Public Works Electrical Section will replace a damaged traffic signal cabinet at the intersection, starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday. The Village said the work will take 6 to 8 hours.

During this time, the traffic signal will be placed in flash and might be temporarily dark at times. According to the Village, westbound Boughton at Aspen Drive will also have the right lane closed.

"A designated work zone will be established, and proper signage and an arrow board will be in place to direct traffic," the Village said.
