BMW Stolen From Inside Garage: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE

Lucas R. Lambert, 34, of Charleston, South Carolina, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with expired plates, and was arrested at 8:03 a.m. Sept. 19, at Bernard Drive and Cherrywood Road. A court date of Oct. 6 was assigned.

Jack T. Wozny, 45, of the 600 block of W. Jonathan Drive, Round Lake, is accused of leaving a personal injury accident, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 6:20 a.m. Sept. 22, at Arlington Heights and McHenry roads. A court date of Oct. 6 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Bosko Dobobrov, 43, of the 1800 block of Oakwood Road, Northbrook, is accused of driving under the influence, driving the wrong way around a traffic island, driving with expired plates, and was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 22, at Lake Cook and Weiland roads. A court date of Oct. 22 was assigned.

INCIDENTS

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

A citizen reported at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18, that their BMW had been stolen from inside a garage in the 1400 block of Rolling Hills Court.

FLEEING OR ELUDING POLICE

A male refused to stop for police at 8:55 p.m. Sept. 20, following a moving violation near Lake Cook and Weiland roads.

RETAIL THEFT

A female stole $276.85 worth of groceries at 8:11 a.m. Sept. 22, at Woodman's, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway. She was identified by police, issued an adjudication citation for retail theft, and was given a trespass warning.
