Buffalo Grove Hosts First Public Meeting For Lake Cook Corridor Market Study, Plan
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at Buffalo Grove Village Hall.

From the Village of Buffalo Grove: The Village of Buffalo Grove is holding the first public meeting for the Lake Cook Corridor Market Study and Plan. The project, which was kicked off in late 2016, is exploring how the Village can best reposition the Corridor to optimize growth potential. It will examine Corridor development scenarios aimed at improving the Village’s identity and vitality, in addition to economic and fiscal sustainability. The consulting team is led by Hellmuth, Obata, and Kassabaum (HOK), who will facilitate the meeting.
The team will present the Corridor’s attributes, explain the study’s goals, and invite the public’s feedback. Project Leader, Domenic Salpietra of HOK stated, “This is a key meeting to introduce the public to the project and gather community input.”
Buffalo Grove Village President Beverly Sussman encourages all residents, business owners and other interested parties to participate in this process. “This is a plan that will ultimately benefit our entire community, and input from everyone is essential to achieve the best possible outcome.”
