Buffalo Grove, IL — From their time in uniform to their everyday contributions in our neighborhoods, veterans embody service in so many forms. Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to share stories of veterans making a difference in the places we call home.

Ever since Jason was a high school freshman, he knew he wanted to become a Marine. It all started when he joined NJROTC.

In 2019, after graduating from Buffalo Grove High School, he went to MCRD San Diego for 13 weeks of recruit training — Marine Corps boot camp.

He is currently stationed at Quantico, Virginia, serving as a First Lieutenant, Military Police Officer and Watch Commander.

Jason is a highly motivated, confident young man with a deep desire to serve and protect his country and its Constitution. He’s the kind of person who’s always there for you — a true friend who will help in any situation. Words like truth, honor, duty and conscience truly define him.

His smile, respect and kindness light up everyone around him. Because of people like Jason, the world becomes a better place.

We are so incredibly proud and honored to be parents of such an amazing and wonderful young man! ❤️ We love you so much!!!

Ever since his childhood, our relationship has always been filled with kindness, warmth, and true friendship. We are truly blessed and happy parents to have such a wonderful son like Jason. 💙 He fills our lives with pride, love, and purpose.

Jason is someone our community should know about because he represents the very best of what it means to serve — with courage, integrity and heart. From a young age, he knew he wanted to become a United States Marine, and he worked tirelessly to make that dream come true. His dedication to protecting his country and upholding the values of truth, honor and duty inspires everyone who knows him. Beyond the uniform, Jason is a kind, genuine and compassionate person — someone who is always ready to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement and make others smile. He reminds us that true service isn’t only about wearing the uniform; it’s about living every day with purpose, respect and love for others.
