Buffalo Grove Road To Close For Canadian National Railroad Crossing Repairs

Buffalo Grove, IL- The Canadian National (CN) Railroad has informed the Lake County Division of Transportation that it will close the CN’s Wisconsin Central railroad crossing on Buffalo Grove Road, south of Port Clinton Road for repairs. The closure of the railroad crossing will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8 and end late in the afternoon on Friday, Aug. 12.

Detour Route: US Route 45, to IL Route 21, to IL Route 22. Local traffic will be allowed from IL Route 22 to N. Main Street and from US Route 45 to the railroad crossing. The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.
