Buffalo Grove's Lazy Dog Restaurant To Feature Special Offer For National Dog Day
The restaurant will also donate a portion of its profits to Pet Partners.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — National Dog Day is Aug. 26 and, true to its brand, the pup-friendly Lazy Dog Restaurant is offering some pet perks.
The Buffalo Grove restaurant will give out a voucher for a free future dog bowl dinner for each dog bowl bought by a diner Aug. 26 through Aug. 31.
They also plan to donate $1 from each onsite dog bowl sale to benefit Pet Partners, a nonprofit organization that helps connect people with therapy dogs.

Lazy Dog Restaurant also has participating locations in Naperville, Northbrook, Oak Brook and Vernon Hills.
Diners can bring their dogs to the patio at any Lazy Dog restaurant to enjoy one of the eatery’s dog bowls onsite. Each bowl contains fresh veggies, meat and rice.

Lazy Dog Restaurants, a California-based restaurant company, opened its Buffalo Grove location at 51 McHenry Road in March.
As Patch first reported in August 2023, Village officials believe bringing Lazy Dog to Buffalo Grove upholds key components of the Lake Corridor Market Study and Plan, a community-driven vision and plan adopted in 2018. The Buffalo Grove Village Board approved Lazy Dog's plan in November 2023.

Known for its handcrafted American food and drink, Lazy Dog restaurants are designed to feel like a Rocky Mountain Wyoming escape. The company touts its warm interior complete with lodge-inspired furnishings such as ledge stone, decorative ceiling design treatments, and artwork reminiscent of the Cowboy State. In addition, a large outdoor patio built around a fire pit for gatherings is featured.
