Construction To Begin On Route 83 In Buffalo Grove Next Week: IDOT
A portion of McHenry Road will undergo work as curb repair, repatching and road resurfacing will create delays for local drivers.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Local drivers can soon expect to experience delays along McHenry Road as the beginning of spring also means the beginning of road construction season in Illinois.
The Illinois Department of Transportation and the Village of Buffalo Grove announced that curb repair, patching, and resurfacing will begin on Route 83 beginning on Monday. The work will be done between Buffalo Grove Road and Bank Lane, IDOT officials said.
Work will begin next week, and drivers can expect to see signage pop up alerting them to the fact that construction will be affecting how traffic moves through the stretch of Route 83 where the work will take place.

Drivers should seek an alternate route to avoid the area, officials said. It is unknown how long work will continue in the area.
