BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE

  • William F. Jimenez Morales, 42, of the 5100 block of W. Concord Place, Chicago, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle when a registration is suspended, and was arrested at 4:08 p.m. Oct. 5, in the 1100 block of McHenry Road. A court date of Nov. 21 was assigned.
  • Ricardo Salcedo Hernandez, 24, of the 400 block of Inland Drive, Wheeling, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, and was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 5, in the 900 block of S. Buffalo Grove Road. A court date of Nov. 14 was assigned.

AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

Anthony Gallardo, 18, of the 400 block of Inland Drive, Wheeling, is accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence, and was arrested at 4:41 a.m. Oct. 5, in the 180 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was taken to the Lake County Jail.

A resident in the 300 block of Gardenia Lane reported at 9:50 a.m. Oct. 3, that the interior of his home had been ransacked. Police said money is missing.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

A citizen reported at 9:50 p.m. Oct. 4, the rear driver's side quarter panel window was broken between 5 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of Knollwood Drive.

RETAIL THEFT

An employee at Casey's, 1251 McHenry Road, reported at 3:39 p.m. Oct. 7, someone had stolen a bag of chips and a foundation drink. The person was later found by police, restitution was made, and an adjudication citation was issued for retail theft and a trespass warning was issued.
