Drunken Driver Nabbed With Booze In Car: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter
The 52-year-old Buffalo Grove man was also charged with illegal stopping, according to police.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Edward E. Schwalb, 56, of the 1400 block of Larchmont Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 12:01 a.m. Oct. 17, in the 1400 block of Larchmont Drive. A court date of Nov. 6 was assigned.
DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE

- Justin Burgess, 28, of the 1500 block of W. 72nd Place, Chicago, is accused of driving on a suspended license, speeding, and was arrested at 8:42 a.m. Oct. 17, in the 300 block of Buffalo Grove Road. A court date of Nov. 14 was assigned.
- Luc Tehaha Batipe, 59, of the 1100 block of E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with expired plates, and was arrested at 4 p.m. Oct. 19, at Checker Drive and Arlington Height Road. A court date of Nov. 21 was assigned.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Victor Olaguez, 52, of the 600 block of Bernard Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, illegal stopping or standing, and was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Oct. 19, in the 0-10 block of Bernard Court. A court date of Nov. 13 was assigned.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY
A male, previously trespassed from Ricky Rockets, 700 E. Lake Cook Road, was seen in the business again at 1:16 p.m. Oct. 17. Police issued a criminal trespass adjudication citation.
