Fire Breaks Out In Vacant Unit Of Building: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter
Police assisted the Buffalo Grove Fire Department with the incident and an investigation is ongoing.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

Nestor Pidluzhnyy, 18, of the 700 block of Drae Court, Wheeling, is accused of driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, and was arrested at 5:41 a.m. Aug. 20, at Bernard and Regent drives. A court date of Sept. 10 was assigned.

- Javier Gonzalez Garcia, 34, of the 6200 block of N. Mozart Street, Chicago, is accused of driving on a revoked license, and was arrested at 3:52 p.m. Aug. 20, at Buffalo Grove Road and Golfview. A court date of Oct. 2 was assigned.
- Renato Carrere, Jr., 35, of the 2000 block of N. Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 7:21 p.m. Aug. 21, at Pauline Avenue and Weiland Road. A court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.
- Danielle M. Donaldson, 37, of the 700 block of N. Laramie Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 4:13 p.m. Aug. 22, at Lexington Drive and Lake Cook Road. A court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A lawn sprinkler may have been damaged when concrete was poured for new sidewalks at 8:51 a.m. Aug. 23, in the 2100 block of Sheridan Road.
FIRE DEPARTMENT ASSIST
A small fire was seen at 6:14 p.m. Aug. 23, inside a vacant unit of a building in the 1300 block of W. Dundee Road. Police said it was quickly put out by the Buffalo Grove Fire Department. An investigation is ongoing.
