Golf, Eat Corn for Charity; Adopt a Guinea Pig in Buffalo Grove

Looking for something to do this weekend? Patch can help you fill your calendar!

Looking for something to do this weekend? There's something for everybody planned in and around Buffalo Grove.

This Saturday is the 16th annual Paul Fabbri Memorial Golf Outing, which will take place at the Chevy Chase Golf Course in Wheeling. Golf packages are $125 per person and proceeds will benefit the American Brain Tumor Association.

If you'd rather mark the day by bringing home a new pet, check out the guinea pig adoption event at Buffalo Grove's Pet Supplies Plus.

Or, if bargain hunting is more appealing to you, make a stop at this large moving sale Friday and Saturday in Buffalo Grove, where residents will have a wide range of items, including a chocolate fondue maker and athletic equipment, for sale.

And Sunday, after you visit the Buffalo Grove Farmers Market, stop by Sunset Foods in Long Grove to buy some roasted corn from the Stevenson High School Choral Guild.
