Halloween 2025: Buffalo Grove Recommends Trick-Or-Treating Hours
The candy-filled holiday is on a Friday this year, which won't happen again until 2031.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Halloween is just two weeks away, and the Village of Buffalo Grove has released its designated trick-or-treating hours. Those participating can grab some candy between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31.
Residents are encouraged to turn on exterior lights to show they are welcoming trick-or-treaters during that time.
Before the holiday, the Trick or Treat Trail runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 24, at the Buffalo Grove Community Arts Center, 225 McHenry Road, Buffalo Grove. Free event for kids 12 and under. Walk through the trail and meet friendly characters who will hand out candy to all children. There will also be games, entertainment, and more family fun. No scare zone and parents must accompany children during the entire event. The first 200 kids will receive goodie bags.
