House Fire Displaces Residents In Buffalo Grove
Smoke and heat damage on the second floor left the home uninhabitable, authorities said.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Residents of a house in Buffalo Grove were displaced after a fire Monday left their home uninhabitable, according to authorities.
Firefighters responded around 4:20 p.m. to the 300 block of Timber Hill Road and found a two-story home was aflame and the blaze was spreading to the house next door, authorities said.
The fire was extinguished in about 30 minutes and no one was hurt, according to the Buffalo Grove Fire Department, which said smoke and heat damage on the second floor left the home where the blaze originated uninhabitable. The incident remains under investigation.
