Jet’s Pizza Returns to Wheeling This Winter
After six years, Jet's Pizza is coming back to Wheeling — opening soon at 1065 E Lake Cook Rd with a fresh team and the same passion.

Jet’s Pizza is making its return to Wheeling with a brand-new location opening soon at 1065 E Lake Cook Rd. The team is aiming to open its doors between the end of December and early next year, bringing back the beloved Detroit-style flavor the community has missed for years.
For Sotiris Leventis (Sam), the Owner/Operator, the opening is both exciting and deeply meaningful. “We’ve always wanted to reopen in Wheeling,” he shared. “The previous owner of Jet’s here passed away about six years ago, and ever since then, we’ve hoped to bring it back. This community loved Jet’s, and we’re honored to continue that legacy.”
That sense of purpose and pride runs through everything the team does. “I spent years working in restaurants and knew it was where I was meant to be. This is our 4th Jet's Pizza location after Arlington Heights on Golf rd , Schaumburg and Joliet locations . I wouldn’t be here today without Alex and Fred , my partners . We started this together, and I’m grateful for them every step of the way.”
Known for its signature Detroit-style deep dish pizza, Jet’s stands out for its crispy, cheesy edges and rich, flavorful sauce. But for the new Wheeling team, it’s about more than just great pizza — it’s about people. “We care about quality and consistency,” Sam says. “Every pizza, every order — we make sure it’s something we’d be proud to serve ourselves. And we treat every customer like family.”
As the team gets ready to open, excitement is building across the community. “The most satisfying part of my job is seeing people enjoy what we make,” Sam shares. “There’s nothing better than knowing we made someone’s day a little better with good food.”
