BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

ARRESTS

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

  • Johnny Ayala, 25, of the 500 block of Wimbledon Drive, Prospect Heights, is accused of driving on a revoked license, improper window tinting, and was arrested at 5:27 p.m. Aug. 27, at Hastings Drive and Lake Cook Road. A court date of Sept. 10 was assigned.
  • Salvador Mora, 29, of the 6000 block of N. Fairfield, Chicago, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 7:40 p.m. Aug. 28, at Buffalo Grove Road and Golfview Terrace. A court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.
  • Luis A. Lopez Ramirez, 40, of the 1200 block of E. Long Valley Drive, Palatine, is accused of a felony count of driving on a revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition lock device, a child restraint violation, and was arrested at 7:01 p.m. Sept. 1, at Lake Cook and Buffalo Grove roads. A court date of Sept. 4 was assigned.
  • Bolortsetseg Jargalsaikhan, 34, of the 200 block of Ashland Court, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 8:31 p.m. Sept. 5, in the 800 block of Old Checker Road. A court date of Sept. 19 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Carlissa Greco, 23, of the 1200 block of N. Sterling Avenue, Palatine, is accused of driving under the influence, improper turn at intersection, transportation of open alcohol by driver, and was arrested at 11:47 p.m. Aug. 27, at Strathmore Court and Arlington Heights Road. A court date of Sept. 17 was assigned.
  • Gildardo Gomez-Solis, 47, of the 80 block of Joslyn Drive, Elgin, is accused of DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 8:41 a.m. Sept. 7 at Raupp Boulevard and Lake Cook Road. A court date of Oct. 17 was assigned.
  • Shaimar C. Robinson, 26, of the 1700 block of Johnson Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, transportation of alcohol by driver, damage to property, and was arrested at 7:36 p.m. Sept. 8, in the 500 block of Beechwood Road. A court date of Sept. 29 was assigned.

  • Alfredo Capilla-Martinez, 49, of the 900 block of Central Avenue, Highland Park, is accused of having never been issued a driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with one headlight, and was arrested at 8:23 p.m. Sept. 4, in the 1500 block of E. Lake Cook Road. A court date of Oct. 6 was assigned.
  • Juan M. Puente, 39, of the 2200 block of Nichols Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of having never been issued a driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driver required to wear a seatbelt, and was arrested at 5:22 p.m. Sept. 6, in the 1000 block of Weiland Road. A court date of Oct. 17 was assigned.

INCIDENTS

THEFT

  • A purse was stolen from a grocery cart at 1:06 p.m. Aug. 27, while the victim was putting away groceries in her vehicle at Garden Fresh, 770 S. Buffalo Grove Road.
  • A bicycle was stolen at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 1, from a bike rack near Jewel, 79 McHenry Road.
  • A female stole two Amazon packages at 9:57 a.m. Sept. 5, from a building in the 170 block of Lake Boulevard.
  • An employee at Giordano's, 270 McHenry Road, called police at 6:21 p.m. Sept. 3, to report someone had not paid for his pizza. Police were able to locate the person and issued an adjudication theft citation and trespass warning.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

  • A male in a vehicle flashed a gun at the complainant after he did stop at a stop sign at 4:10 p.m. Aug. 27, in the Jewel parking lot, 79 McHenry Road.
  • A male reported at 9:11 p.m. Sept. 9, that he had been threatened by another male in the 2800 block of Acacia Terrace. The person was identified and issued an adjudication citation for disorderly conduct.

RETAIL THEFT

  • A female stole a bottle of juice, worth $2.64, at 4:44 p.m. Aug. 27, at Woodman's, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway. She was issued an adjudication citation for retail theft and a trespass warning.
  • It was reported at 1:22 a.m. Sept. 6, that a female had stolen alcohol on several occasions from Ricky Rockets, 700 E. Lake Cook Road.

UNWANTED PERSON

A male was issued a trespass adjudication citation at 10:58 a.m. Aug. 29, after being previously issued a warning to not enter the property at Woodman's, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

  • It was discovered at 11:21 a.m. Sept. 6, that someone had vandalized the old Burger King building, 60 McHenry Road, both on the inside and outside.
  • It was discovered that someone had shattered the passenger-side window of a car at 6:35 p.m. Sept. 6, at Bowlero, 350 McHenry Road.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

A citizen reported at 6:33 p.m. Sept. 8, that someone had stolen a clarinet out of their vehicle while it was parked in the 1200 block of E. Deerfield Parkway.
