Motorcyclist, 18, Killed After Crash With Pickup Truck: Buffalo Grove PD
Buffalo Grove Road was shut down between Dundee Road and E Darryl Drive for approximately four hours due to the crash.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — An 18-year-old Wheeling resident, who was driving a motorcycle, was killed Friday night, following a crash with a pickup truck. Jeremi Klodzinski was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to Buffalo Grove police, the driver of the pickup truck did not sustain any apparent injuries and is cooperating with the investigation.
Police responded to the crash at around 5:40 p.m. in the northbound traffic lanes of Buffalo Grove Road at University Drive. Upon arrival, officers immediately began rendering aid to Klodzinski.

Buffalo Grove Road was shut down between Dundee Road and E Darryl Drive for approximately four hours due to the crash. The crash is being investigated by members of the Buffalo Grove Police Department's traffic unit with assistance from the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team.
Police said the cause of the crash has yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing, with no citations or charges issued at this time.
