Police Blotter: iPad, Bike Stolen; Vase Broken

ALCOHOL
Michael W. Ryan, 56, of the 200 block of 12th Street, Wheeling, was charged with driving under the influence and driving with an expired registration at 1:11 p.m. Aug. 20 at Lake-Cook and McHenry roads.
BURGLARY

A resident of the 100 block of University Drive reported the theft of a blue Roadmaster bicycle from their open garage between Aug. 19-20.
PROPERTY DAMAGE

A representative of a business on the 1300 block of Dundee Road reported the accidental damage to a vase that was in the lobby of a business on Aug. 20. Officers arrived and restitution was agreed upon between the business and customer.
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE
Complainant reported an occupied vehicle in the area with two men taking pictures of several houses at 12:48 p.m. Aug. 20. Officers responded but could not locate the vehicle.
THEFT
An iPad was reported stolen at 5 p.m. Aug. 19 from a Buffalo Grove Fitness Center locker room.
