Sen. McConchie, Rep. Bos to Host Kids’ Fair with Foglia YMCA Aug. 13th

Sen. McConchie and Rep. Bos invite families to join them for their annual Kids' Fair in partnership with the Foglia YMCA.

LAKE ZURICH – Illinois Senate Republican Leader Dan McConchie (R-Hawthorn Woods, 26th Senate District) and State Representative Chris Bos (R-Lake Zurich, 51st House District) invite families to join them for their annual Kids’ Fair in partnership with the Foglia YMCA. The free fair to be held on August 13 at Foglia YMCA in Lake Zurich will feature live demos and a touch-a-truck exhibit, among several other family-friendly activities.

This year’s fair will include nearly 50 exhibitors with activities and information ranging from face painting, water and boat safety, and a fire pole experience, to college savings information for parents. More than twenty vehicles will feature in the touch-a-truck exhibit, highlighted by a visit from the LIFENET Medical Helicopter, which will land on-site at 10:30 a.m. In addition to free admission, free refreshments and giveaways are also included.

  • 9:30 a.m. – Trilogy School of Performing Arts
  • 10:00 a.m. – Traveling World of Reptiles Show
  • 10:30 a.m. – LIFENET Helicopter Landing
  • 11:30 a.m. – Kim Tae Kwon Do
  • Noon – Lake County Sheriff K-9
  • 12:30 p.m. – Drawing for Giveaways
