BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Set in the Renaissance, the Buffalo Grove Park District's new summer musical, "Something Rotten!," is ready to entertain local audiences for two weekends this July and August.

Calling it a "side-splitting musical that will delight audiences," park officials said the shows will be at 7:30 p.m. July 26, July 27, and Aug. 2; and at 3 p.m. on July 28, Aug. 3, and Aug. 4. All tickets are $21 and are available for purchase at bigdealproductions.org.

"Something Rotten!" follows the Bottom brothers as they set out to write a hit play while in the shadow of a Renaissance rock star known as the Bard. The show features a cast of outrageous characters and an upbeat, catchy score. Attendees should know this production has been rated PG-13 by the licensing company.
