BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The annual Buffalo Grove Park District Green Fair, hosted by the Buffalo Grove Park District's Environmental Action Team, returns next month at Mike Rylko Community Park. The free event runs from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 21, at 951 McHenry Road, next to the Farmers Market.

The park district said the event is intended for the whole family, providing information and activities to help residents learn about the small steps they can all take at home, work, and in the community. The goal is to improve our environment and make Buffalo Grove a greener and healthier place to live.

Visit bgparks.org/green-fair for a complete list of items being collected for recycling at the event.
