'Tireless In Her Efforts': Buffalo Grove Patch Community Leader

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Without community leaders, Buffalo Grove Patch wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

She has a specialty baking business, President of the Buffalo Grove Park District's Friends of the Park, Member of the BG Singers for 19 years, Coordinated huge fundraiser for the Ukulele Kid's Club, Went to New York to replace instruments from Hurricane Sandy

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

Cathy, quite simply is tireless in her efforts for the community. Her energy, organizational skills and talents are simply beyond comparison. There is no task too big or small that Cathy wouldn't tackle.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

She will always get the job done - whatever it is, Cathy is the go-to person! Plus, she does it with a smile and wonderful sense of humor.
