Win Money for Local Schools Through 'Give With Target' Campaign
The Give With Target campaign ends Sept. 21.

Want to help Buffalo Grove-area schools get some extra money?
Target is planning to donate $5 million to schools nationwide, and if you want your school to receive some of this free cash, all you have to do is vote.
To vote, just visit the Give With Target page. Then, search for a school by name, or enter the city/state. Then, just click on the "vote" button to submit a vote.
According to Target, when a school has received 25 votes, the company will donate $1 per vote, up to $10,000. The Give With Target campaign will end Sept. 21.
School districts 21, 96, 102, 103, 125 and 214 all have participating schools. Private schools such as St. Mary School and Torah Academy are also on the ballot.
“The response to last year’s Give With Target program was overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited to invite our guests to designate $5 million to their schools this year,” said Laysha Ward, president, community relations, Target. “By rallying communities across the country in support of education, Target is playing a role in helping put more kids on the path to high school graduation.”
