2 Burglaries Attempted In Burr Ridge: Cops
The suspects may be linked to break-ins in other suburbs, including a home invasion, police said.

BURR RIDGE, IL – A couple of people attempted to burglarize two houses in Burr Ridge late Saturday night, local police said.
They are believed to be connected to burglaries in other suburbs, including possibly a home invasion in Bolingbrook.
About 11:30 p.m., a man and a boy first targeted a house in the 15W300 Block of 87th Street, police said. They then tried to break into a house shortly before midnight in the 8600 block of Johnston Road.

Shortly after, Oak Brook police found the suspects' car and took them to the Burr Ridge police station, authorities said.
The juvenile was released, while the adult was taken to the Lemont station, where he was charged with residential burglary, police said.

The cases in Burr Ridge remain an active and ongoing investigation, Police Chief Marc Loftus said in an email to Patch.
