Bicycle Rider? Your Opinion's Needed on Bike Routes

A survey to improve bicycle routes in the western suburbs asks for feedback by Aug. 19.

The Active Transportation Alliance and the West Suburban Municipal Conference are teaming up to improve biking in cities and villages in the western suburbs.

Residents are being asked to complete a survey which asks questions about their biking experience. The goal of the program is to identify 10-16 regional corridors that would be good for safe and fast bike travel through the area.

Residents who take part in the survey are asked to identify areas that are safe or unsafe for bike travel, and add suggestions on how to improve bike travel to areas of interest.
