Burr Ridge Art Studio Opens To 'Nurture Imagination'
The business hosts classes, camps and parties for all ages and includes a small retail section with books and art supplies.
BURR RIDGE, IL – An art studio recently opened in Burr Ridge, where people can "experiment with art and nurture imagination, curiosity and self-expression," according to a news release.
Studio B Art is at 302 Burr Ridge Parkway, a part of the County Line Square shopping center.
The business offers a free baby story time called Baby Book Bees. It also hosts classes, camps and parties for all ages and includes a small retail section with books and art supplies.

Megan Lawrence, a Willowbrook resident for more than a decade, is the owner.
"I really wanted to open a studio in our community for people, especially kids and families, to be creative," Lawrence said in the news release. “Like many parents turned entrepreneurs, I couldn’t find what I wanted for my children and decided to do something about it.”

She helped create Sprouts, the Darien Garden Club's children's group. She is also a leader for her two daughters' Girl Scout troops and serves on the board of the Gower Foundation.
Before starting the studio, Lawrence worked at Indian Prairie Public Library in Darien.
