Burr Ridge Behind Elmhurst, Darien In DUI Arrests Per Officer
At the same time, the village is ahead of some neighbors in drunken-driving arrests.
BURR RIDGE, IL – Burr Ridge officers are ahead of their counterparts in some area towns in nabbing drunken driving suspects, but they are well behind Elmhurst, Darien and Hinsdale in DUI arrests per officer, a new study shows.
In 2023, Burr Ridge officers recorded 21 DUI arrests, putting it 96th among Illinois towns, according to the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists. That works out to one arrest per officer. Burr Ridge reported having 21 officers last year.
