Graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors College. Honored as Phi Beta Kappa, Outstanding Senior from National Alumni Association, Cardinal Key, Barrido is also a member of honors societies such as Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society, Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Alpha Lambda Delta.
