Good Samaritan Robbed At Burr Ridge Bank: Cops
The victim stopped for what appeared to be two men stranded on the expressway, police said.

BURR RIDGE, IL – A good Samaritan trying to help what appeared to be two people stranded on the expressway Thursday afternoon ended up being robbed at a Burr Ridge bank, police said.
The victim stopped to help two men standing outside a black Ford SUV on Interstate 55, police said. The men claimed to need gas money.
The victim drove one of them to the ATM at Chase Bank at 150 Burr Ridge Parkway, police said in a news release. The other suspect followed in his car.

While the victim withdrew cash, one of the men implied he had a gun and demanded money, which the victim provided, police said.
A description of the suspects was broadcast to area police. Later in the afternoon, officers from the Woodridge and Hinsdale police departments stopped the suspects' SUV in the 1900 block of 75th Street in Woodridge, police said.

A 42-year-old man and a 17-year-old man were detained and taken to the Burr Ridge police station, according to the news release.
Police said they would release more information if and when charges are filed.
