Grocery Chain Headquarters In Burr Ridge?
Other tenants are also expected to move into the five-story building.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Pete's Market, a Chicago area grocery store chain, is poised to move its offices to Burr Ridge, village officials said Monday.
The 19-store chain is looking to set up shop in the old TCF Bank building at 800 Burr Ridge Parkway, next to the Village Center.
This was information that Mayor Gary Grasso and Village Administrator Evan Walter gave to Patch in response to an inquiry after Monday's Village Board meeting.

Other tenants are also expected to move into the five-story building, officials said.
The chain's current headquarters are at 4343 S. Pulaski Road in Chicago.
Pete's Market opened its first store on Chicago's South Side in the 1970s. It is now planning locations in Tinley Park, Oak Park, New Lenox and Palos Heights.
The 13.5-acre TCF site has been vacant for the better part of a decade.
According to real estate websites, the 86,000-square-foot building was constructed in 1997. The site has 400 parking spaces.
Over the years, the village has received proposals for condos and apartment complexes on the site.
In 2020, Mayor Grasso warned the village may declare a "moratorium" on the TCF site. He said the purpose was to get the owner's attention and "red-flag it to get it developed."
In 2022, the village said a developer wanted 400 to 500 apartments on the property. At one point, Grasso said most of the proposals for the site were for apartments. The densities were "unbelievable" and the configurations were "unacceptable," he said.
