Gun Stolen From Car In Burr Ridge: Police
The car was unlocked. Two other car burglaries occurred the same morning, authorities said.

BURR RIDGE, IL – A gun was stolen last week from an unlocked car in a Burr Ridge neighborhood, police said.
The burglary took place early the morning of July 22 on Grant Street, Deputy Police Chief Marc Loftus said in an email to Patch. The Glock 43X gun was in the glove box, he said.
Two other unlocked cars were burglarized the same morning. Sunglasses were stolen from a car on Dolfor Cove, while a wallet was taken from a vehicle on Devon Drive, Loftus said.

Police encourage residents to lock their car doors and not to leave their key fobs or other valuables inside.
Other western suburbs have also received burglary reports recently, including Western Springs, Hinsdale, Darien, Elmhurst and La Grange.
