
Independence Day in Hinsdale is approaching once again.
Activities run throughout the day Thursday beginning at 10 a.m. Here's a quick breakdown:
10 a.m. -- Parade steps off at 6th and Garfield streets. It will travel north to 1st Street before heading west to Grant Street, then south back to 6th.
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. -- The 2013 Family Festival will include the traditional Rotary Club turtle races, an arts and crafts fair, food vendors, face-painting and inflatables.
The West Suburban Concert Band will play beginning at 1 p.m.
