It's A Boy For the Patch Family!

Patch contributor Alex Keown and his wife Julie are expecting their first child on Oct. 26, a date which has special meaning for him. Not only is it the day he proposed to his wife, it's also his grandparents' anniversary.

"If it actually happens on that day—any day your child is born is just going to be an amazing day—Wow...It just lets me know things were meant to be," Alex told us.

Alex and his wife Julie learned Thursday that they are expecting a boy.

"My wife and I are so excited over this news, and we just can’t wait to open a new life into this world and from day one, shaping [his] development and interests and watching them grow and expand."
